Why don’t FCRH students have to take any business core classes? GSB students have to take liberal arts core classes.

While questioning whether it is unfair that Gabelli Students this article makes two major oversights. First, there are certain FCRH majors that do not require students to take language classes, such as science majors. Second, the article ignores the fact that many students in Gabelli simply do not have any room in their schedules to take more classes than are already required, accounting and applied accounting and finance majors come to mind.

Maybe it would help not only interviewing FCRH students, and getting a perspective that isn’t in line with yours?

“How is that acceptable that they can choose and we cannot?” By choosing to enroll into FCRH you are accepting that you have to meet the requirements at FCRH, if you don’t want to take a language then you should’ve enrolled into Gabelli. Language requirements are present in almost all liberal arts colleges, taking away that requirement would discredit the mission of liberal arts.
