The Fordham Ram

About Us

History of The Ram

The Fordham Ram was founded in 1918 and serves as the Rose Hill campus’ journal of record. Over the Ram’s 103 year existence, our journalists have covered everything from the first co-ed graduating class to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 and continue to cover campus news despite the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ram went online in 2012 and continues to publish both online and in print. Our issues come out every Wednesday with breaking news and sports updated regularly.

News

The News section covers Fordham events, including the actions of the Fordham administration and United Student Government. A regular column of the news section includes the Research Column, which looks at the research students are conducting on campus. For further inquiries, please email [email protected]

Opinion

The Opinion section provides a platform for students to share their opinions on all topics, including politics and campus news. Regular columns in the opinion section include From the Desk, a piece written by a different staff member each week on an issue particularly important to them, and Editorial, an opinion piece expressing the views of the Ram’s editorial board. For further inquiries, please email [email protected]

Culture

The Culture section of the Fordham Ram covers everything from album, film and book reviews to pop culture events and art performances on campus.
