More nothingness given light speed that STEM education is proceeding at other decent universities. This one is about department budgets and people keeping jobs and titles. Why are Robert Hume and Patrick Hornbeck leading any committee let alone attending this one ? Fordham needs a sea change to match up with decent universities, both domestically and international. These guys are rowing a boat to nowhere and are just playing along for another committee finding report to be put on the shelf. These characters are out of the Truman Show and are inhibiting real change. If the Fordham Ram wants to be help in disabling the apathetic culture that Fordham thrives on it should be more assertive. There is a culture of intimidation among the administration at Fordham and it reflects across all spectrums. Have the Fordham Ram be delivered electronically via sign up to people’s e-mail accounts, have your server off the Fordham University servers. Look at the Harvard Observer, one can sign up for it. Also merge with the silly Fordham Observer, it writes about stuff like the food in the cafeteria or films. Build your readership !!!

It would be nice to see Fordham remodel McGinley center and maybe make a science department. A lot of students at Fordham want to study pre-med. The student body knows about this and I’m sure the faculty do as well. We’ll see what happens.

RH will never be a center for STEM, not enough real estate. Will the Professors please define “diversity”?
