A Fordham University undergraduate student has reportedly had their visa revoked, according to an email sent April 4 by President Tania Tetlow. On April 5, The Fordham Ram received a statement from university spokesperson Bob Howe which stated that Fordham is unsure of the cause behind the revocation, and that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has provided no cause for the change in visa status.
“The University does not believe that the student is connected to the protests at Fordham,” he added.
According to the Associated Press, international students across the nation have faced visa revocations over a variety of reasons including “pro-Palestinian activism or criminal infractions.”
The email encouraged all students who experience changes to their immigration status to call Fordham Public Safety at (718) 817-2222.
In the email, Tetlow wrote that “in the last few days, a growing number of students from a wide range of countries, have had their visas revoked without explanation and without notice. Today we discovered that this has affected one of our own undergraduate students.”
A group of faculty members and others has been assembled to “help us navigate these issues, plan our response, and provide support.”

Is the student who has reportedly had their visa revoked one of the students arrested(?) last spring ai the Lincoln Center campus? If so, then the Fordham administration has some blame for this.
