The Fordham University Campus Activities Board (CAB) announced ROLE MODEL as the 2025 Spring Weekend concert headliner, and Cash Cobain and LAUNDRY DAY as the openers.

The Spring Weekend concert will occur on Martyrs’ Lawn, weather permitting, on Saturday, April 26. The entrance to Martyrs will open at noon.

The announcement of the performers comes after much effort on behalf of CAB’s concert committee. The process of securing a headliner is nearly a year-long effort. In 2024, CAB hosted Teezo Touchdown and Chelsea Cutler.

Students will be required to provide their Fordham ID to enter.

In 2024, students filled out a survey on which artists they would like to see perform for the 2025 concert. Of the artists suggested in the survey, 42% were Indie Rock/Pop, 15% suggested Rap artists and 11% suggested R&B.

CAB also detailed the most requested artists with Gracie Abrams at #5, A Boogie wit da Hoodie at #4, Wallows at #3, THE DRIVER ERA at #2 and ROLE MODEL at #1.

CAB will also welcome Sal Vulcano from “Impractical Jokers” for a Question and Answer at 7 p.m. on April 24 at the Fordham Prep Leonard Theater. On Wednesday, April 23, the General Board Field Day will happen on Edwards Parade at 2 p.m. Later that day, the Rodrigue’s Coffee House Concert will take place at 7 p.m.

On Friday, April 25, the Special Events Carnival will occur in LOT A parking lot at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, April 27, the LIVE! Comedians, Please Don’t Destroy, will take place at Fordham Prep Leonard Theater at 6:45 p.m.

On Monday, April 28, Weekend Activities Committee (WAC) Bingo will take place at Fordham Prep Leonard Theater at 9 p.m.

On Thursday, April 29, the Cinevents Campus Movie Fest will take place on Edwards Parade at 8 p.m.
