Fordham University sent an email out on Nov. 11 explaining two bias incidents that have occurred on campus in the past week. Both of the incidents consisted of racial slurs written on campus whiteboards. The incidents are still being investigated by Public Safety.

Fordham's Young Democratic Socialists Association is running dual campaigns currently. In addition to their efforts for bodily autonomy, the club is also fighting for free speech and their club's official recognition. The association is also continuing their efforts for contraceptive distribution and sexual education.

The Walsh Library is currently displaying an exhibit in the O'Hare Special Collections called "Citizenship, Inclusion, and the Struggle to Belong." The exhibit focuses on the Jewish and Black American experience. The goal is to encourage conversations about how we define citizenship, inclusion and Americanness.

Gabelli School of Business senior Aminata Konate had the idea to found a Black and Latinx Business Association after career fair last fall. She explained that she felt overlooked in student organizations and career opportunities and knew her peers that were also students of color had similar experiences. These experiences were Konate's inspiration for starting the Black and Latinx Business Association.

Fordham President Tania Tetlow received the inaugural Centennial Award from Commonweal Magazine. The award was given in honor of Commonweal's 100th anniversary. Tetlow was chosen for the award because of her leadership work and her attention to next generation of Catholics.

The Fordham Ram has kept track of events in and around the Fordham and Bronx communities since its founding. In the early years of the Ram few stories were written about presidential elections. However, by the 1960s, multiple articles relating to the election became standard during election years.

The Bronx Music Hall opened as a music venue and a center for community engagement. The music hall is meant to honor the Bronx's cultural heritage and long history of musical innovation. The venue has officially opened will continue to hold music events aimed at uniting residents and visitors in the area.

Fordham's United Student Government held their weekly meeting and discussed delegate reports. The meeting discussed sanctions and changes in funding for some campus clubs. It was also announced that USG will oversee the selection of a student representative for the new socially responsible investing committee.
